This Privacy Policy explains what personal information the Prakasha MCQ mobile
application collects, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It applies to the Android
application com.prakasha.mcq and to the learning platform it connects to at
prakashamcq.com. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
The service is operated by GreenBooks (“we”, “us”). Questions about this policy: greenbooksimaging@gmail.com.

We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, your photos, your calendar, your microphone audio, or your camera images. Some of these permissions may appear in the Android permission list because of components built into the underlying learning platform, but Prakasha MCQ does not use them and does not send any such data to our servers.
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name, your email address, and your profile picture URL with us so that we can create your account. We do not receive your Google password and we cannot access anything else in your Google account. The handling of your data by Google is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Please read this before you set your display name. Prakasha MCQ includes chapter, unit, and global leaderboards. Your display name and your score are visible to other signed-in users of the App on those leaderboards. Your email address is never shown.
If you would prefer not to be identifiable, set your display name to a nickname in your profile. If you would like to be removed from leaderboards entirely, email us.
We share personal information only where it is necessary to run the service:

We keep your account and your learning history for as long as your account is open, because that history is what lets you review your mistakes and track progress across months of preparation. Server access logs are kept for a maximum of 12 months.
If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you (for example, how many users answered a particular question correctly) may be retained.

Prakasha MCQ is built for candidates preparing for competitive examinations and is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
If you are under 18, please review this policy with a parent or guardian before creating an account.
All traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes and are never readable by us or by anyone else. Access to the server is restricted to authorised administrators. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your personal information we will notify you.
Prakasha MCQ uses an in-app credit system (Sparks and Lumens). No real-money purchases are currently available, and we do not collect or store any card, bank, or payment information. If paid features are introduced in future, this policy will be updated before they go live, and payments will be handled through Google Play Billing.
If we change this policy we will update the “last updated” date above. If the change is significant, we will tell you inside the App before it takes effect.
